This unit can operate at temperatures between -30 degrees Celsius and 55 degrees Celsius. I can be stored safely in temperatures of between -40 degrees Celsius and 85 degrees Celsius. According to the charging properties of a lead acid battery the battery charger uses a 2 stage charging method and the charge mode is constant current.  When the battery voltage is under the threshold it is in constant charge mode. When the battery is above the threshold the charging current decreases as the battery voltage rising until it reaches the set voltage and then the charge mode is turned into floating charge.
