KE00131 Temperature Sensor
The KE00131 Temperature Sensor is supplied under part number KE00131 for engines where the electrics have to work first time, every time.
About this part
Starter motors, charging alternators, glow plugs and sensors are what let a controller start a standby generator automatically and shut it down safely when something goes wrong.
Features
- The temperature alarm tolerance +/- 3°C
When to replace it
- Slow cranking or a starter that clicks without turning
- Battery not charging while the engine runs
- False low-oil or high-temperature shutdowns
- Hard cold starts on engines with glow plugs
Before you order
Fit sensors with the correct thread sealant or washer, and do not overtighten them; the sensing element is easily damaged.
If the old part has no readable number, send us a clear photo with the engine or alternator nameplate and we will identify it before you buy.
Questions
How do I know if it is 12 V or 24 V?
Check the battery bank and the rating plate on the old part. Most small and medium sets run 12 V; larger engines often run 24 V.
