SMA4000-0002 is a 1000w water heater 230v for keeping a standby generator ready to start.
About this part
Most standby generators that fail to start do so because of a flat battery or a cold engine. A float charger keeps the starting battery topped up between runs, and a water jacket heater keeps the engine warm so it can take load quickly.
