40KVA 32KW Alternator – IEP184J

About this part

The alternator converts the engine's mechanical power into electricity. Its rating has to match the engine: an undersized alternator overheats, an oversized one adds cost without adding usable power.

Features

• Premium Brushless Design with Advanced AVR Technology
• Class H Insulation for Superior Temperature Management
• IP22 Protection Rating for Enhanced Durability
• Precision-engineered 4-pole Configuration
• 1500 RPM for 50Hz / 1800 RPM for 60Hz Operation
• Outstanding Voltage Regulation (±1.0%)
• Robust Short Circuit Protection
• Exceptional Waveform Quality (TIF<50, THF<2%)

When to replace it

• Building a new generating set
• Replacing an alternator with damaged windings
• Upgrading a set to a different output rating

Before you order

Rate the alternator for the engine's output at your site conditions; altitude and high ambient temperature both reduce what it can deliver.

Not sure it is the right one? A photo of the old part and the nameplate of the machine it came off is usually all the counter needs to confirm a match.
