YES1-GP 800Amp 3-POLE Automatic Changeover Switch
800A/3P is an automatic transfer switch (ATS), rated 800 A with 3 poles for standby generator installations.
About this part
When the mains fails, the generator controller starts the engine and the changeover switch moves the load across once the generator voltage is stable. When the mains returns, it switches back. The two supplies are never connected at the same time, which protects the generator and anyone working on the grid.

Mount the switch in a proper enclosure out of the weather, and test the changeover under load after installation.

Questions
3-pole or 4-pole?
A 4-pole switch switches the neutral as well as the three phases. Your electrician will choose based on the earthing arrangement and local regulations.
Can I fit it myself?
No. Changeover switches connect to the mains supply and must be installed by a registered electrician.
